Odell Beckham, Jr. gave some New York Giants fans quite the surprise when he picked them up for a ride as an undercover Lyft driver. With sunglasses and a beanie on, none of his passengers recognized him and carried on casual conversations, even talking about Beckham and the Giants along the way.
Odell Beckham Jr. surprises Giants fans as undercover Lyft driver
“You ever been to Houston? I’m trying to get there February.”
Along the way, he dropped plenty of hints about his real identity, but none of the fans seemed to pick up on the cues.
“You ever been to Houston?” Beckham asked a passenger about the host of Super Bowl LI. “I’m trying to get there February.”
When Beckham’s mom called him during a ride she told him to “show off [his] one-handed driving.”
But it wasn’t until he took off his beanie that the passengers finally recognized the star receiver. Except for one who took it as a cue to roast Beckham.
In previous episodes of Undercover Lyft, Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman and New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski also picked up unsuspecting fans.
