Paul George palmed the ball and got away with it

George carried the ball in the fourth quarter against the Knicks, and the referee did not blow the whistle.

Courtney Lee’s reaction says it all. As a matter of fact, you can look to the entire Knicks bench for confirmation.

In the fourth quarter of the New York Knicks’ 123-109 Saturday loss to the Indiana Pacers, referees neglected to blow the whistle when Pacers forward Paul George palmed the ball in-between dribbles.

George went on to dribble by Mindaugas Kuzminskas before a step-back mid-range jumper. Because the no-call happened prior to the two-minute mark, it won’t be reflected in the NBA’s Last Two Minutes officiating report.

But it’s safe to say the refs got this one wrong.
