Ever been skimboarding? It’s the thing you see at the beach when people run along the sand and skim along the shallow water washing up on the beach. You’ve never seen it like this:

Austin Keen is a world champion skimboarder, and he’s not just riding shallow water — he’s pushing the sport to brand new places. For years he’s been carving up crashing waves and turning the beach into what looks like his own personal skate park.

Seriously, the amount of air he gets here is just ludicrous:

This looks like so much fun though, and also terrifying. I would break both my ankles in a heartbeat.
