It comes from Bogota, Colombia from an Aug. 20 soccer game between Santa Fe and Millonarios. Someone in the stands shot video of a father sitting with his visually impaired son, mapping out the entire game for him live using a field-shaped board.
It’s a way for the father and son to share in the game together, in the same atmosphere, and you can see the unbridled joy on the dad’s face as he tells his son what’s happening and guides his hands around the board, mapping out passes and explaining how a shot occurred.
This is honestly one of the best videos of the year.
