Ever shot a free throw? Like a real one? It’s more difficult than it seems on TV, but by no means a monumental feat — unless you’re Andre Roberson.
Andre Roberson’s terrible free throw shooting reaches a new low with back-to-back airballs
Welp.

The Thunder guard-forward airballed not one, but two free throws on Sunday night against the Timberwolves — and they were back-to-back, as well. It was so bad teammates tried to comfort him as he ran back, while the Wolves got to inbound the ball from the side because Roberson’s shooting was so bad it caused a violation.
Roberson’s horrific free throw shooting is fast becoming the stuff of legend. Since joining the Thunder in 2013, he’s shot an abysmal .489 from the stripe. Even Shaq shot .529 during his career — that gives you an idea just how bad Roberson is.
This reached its zenith during the playoffs earlier this year when the entire Rockets bench just started laughing when he missed a free throw.
There’s more than meets the eye when it comes to Andre Roberson. Sure, the dude can’t hit the backside of a barn from the field, but he’s an awesome defender — and that’s why he’s on the Thunder.
