Eagles vs. 49ers broadcast interrupted by accidental James Franco appearance

Here’s something you don’t see in the middle of a football game very often.

Someone at FOX accidentally hit the wrong button and cut from the second quarter of 49ers vs. Eagles to James Franco being James Franco over on FXX in This Is The End. Then, in a frazzled attempt to make things better, viewers were treated to a few seconds of Panthers vs. Buccaneers, because why not?

These mistakes happen, and they’re always funny. Let us never forget when CBS interrupted Chargers vs. Broncos last year to tell us about Matt LeBlanc’s new comedy.
