This has to be the most disrespectful knockout in UFC history, and right up there as one of the most violent. Brown caught Sanchez’s kick in the first round, walked him back against the cage, had the time to frame his elbow and then obliterated Sanchez.
It was so bad that Sanchez immediately told people he wasn’t retiring, because after something like this happens it’s just assumed you will.
There have been more dramatic knockouts, and more exciting ones — but never one that had the built up and conclusion to this one. My head just aches looking at it.
