It’s an excellent idea to make merchandise with the likeness of your most popular player if you’re a basketball franchise. It’s is also a good idea to make sure that any merch you make looks similar to the real-life person.
This hat with Kristaps Porzingis is, let’s say interesting, because it doesn’t look like him that much. It looks more like Billy Idol. Some would go so far as to say it’s nightmare fuel, but you try coming up with an identical portrait using only different-colored threads of thread.
