The Republican party outlined its new tax plan on Thursday and one person was mentioned by name in it: Steph Curry.
Steph Curry has jokes about being mentioned in the GOP’s new tax bill
This was ... odd.

Curry was used as the example in the GOP’s talking points of a rich individual who would be distinguished from a pass-through business in terms of tax relief. More specifically, it was being used to explain why corporations are getting much larger tax cuts than small businesses.
Naming Curry is exceptionally odd, given the bevy of wealthy individuals who could have been referred to — but instead the NBA superstar got mentioned. He was a little confused by it, but had one burning question.
