This person drying the court at a FIBA game put on an acrobatic performance

This is dedication!

Look, you may take your job seriously but you probably don’t make it look like a dang art form like this person drying a basketball court.

During a FIBA World Cup qualifying game between Egypt and the Democratic Republic of Congo, this masterful staff member dried the court. But instead of just walking to the wet spot, wiping it down a little, and returning to the sidelines like it was no thing, they put on a show.

This move is so impressive that it deserves either a panel of judges ranking the acrobatics or a crowd who isn’t attending the arena for the basketball game, but solely for this person’s moves. And since this has not happened yet, I will take it upon myself to rate this performance:

Technique: 10/10

If you start off with a flip onto the court, you automatically get a perfect ten. There’s no disputing this. Think about what could’ve gone wrong. This person is holding a a dry towel on a basketball court with sweat. That still doesn’t stop him from pulling off this front flip by resting his hands on the towel while he’s upside-down. This is incredible

Form: 10/10

One would think the flip would be enough but not for this FIBA staffer. He then hops every wipe. The hops almost resemble tiny frog leaps for that additional arm extension. And there’s little to no break between jumps either. This is 100 percent dedication 100 percent of the time.

Performance 10/10

Have you ever done such a good job that you smack the work of art you just created? No? Well, this person has and we should all aspire to achieve this. The next time you create an intricate spreadsheet in the office or finish an illustration, grab that piece of paper and embrace it. That’s how you know you’re really proud of what you’ve done. (Although I wouldn’t recommend doing this if the work is on a computer screen. Please don’t damage your computer.)

Egypt would win this game 65-61, but this dude is the real winner. No matter what goes down in the rest of the games, FIBA needs to send this person to the Basketball World Cup in 2019.
