Giannis was floored. He couldn’t believe so many Greeks were there to see him. Initially he thought it was all fake — but the fans proved their heritage by serenading him with the Greek national anthem, “The Hymn to Liberty.”
Stunned by the reaction, Giannis joined in and sang along with them before taking the time to sign autographs and shake hands. He even posted a selfie video with all the fans, where his arms are basically built-in selfie sticks.
