This artist is making the throwback basketball posters the modern NBA needs

Need all of these right now.

James Dator
James Dator has been covering a wide range of sports for SB Nation for over a decade, with a special focus on the NFL.

Enrique Castellano is a graphic artist who lists the NBA as one of his clients, and his latest project is absolutely stunning. He’s taking the league’s biggest stars, putting them in throwback uniforms and making posters that would make the Costacos brothers proud.

So far only a handful have been uploaded, but admit it: These are absolutely amazing. I’d print out a giant version of this Giannis poster and stick it on my wall like I was 12 years old again.

Here’s James Harden’s version ...

And DeMar DeRozan.

But this one right here of Russ — all the feels.

Going to need 30 of these ASAP. Thanks.
