This 16-year-old’s Harvard acceptance video went viral and even inspired Jeremy Lin

So good!

James Dator
James Dator has been covering a wide range of sports for SB Nation for over a decade, with a special focus on the NFL.

16-year-old Ayrton Little got the news he’d been waiting for this week when he found out he was accepted into Harvard and would start in the fall of 2018. Video of him learning his acceptance went viral, and rightfully so.

Little attends T.M. Landry College Preparatory in Breaux Bridge, La., and judging from the school’s description it’s brutal — but you can’t deny the results. Students go to class year-round, only getting a five-day summer break, but in exchange they’re going to a school that boasts a 100 percent acceptance rate into four-year universities, and has sent a student to Harvard each of the last three years (which is why you can hear “three-peat” being chanted).

Getting accepted into college is such a happy day, and I can’t even imagine what it’s like to get into Harvard — let alone at 16. Or what it’s like to get congratulated by an NBA star, who happens to have attended the school you’re about to go to.

Congratulations to Ayrton, and everyone who got their college acceptance letters this week!
