The Oklahoma City Thunder held their annual “Holiday Assist” on Monday night with players from the team joining kids and their parents for some cheer. One girl got Russell Westbrook as her shopping buddy and couldn’t handle it:

Everyone was dressed for the holiday, except Steven Adams who couldn’t find a Santa hat big enough to fit his head. Also he wore flip-flops.
We also learned that Adams calls Russ “squire.”
But perhaps the best moment of all was seeing Raymond Felton surprise this mom by telling her not only were her kids’ wish lists fulfilled but that he was giving her a big handful of gift cards to take care of herself.
This is so great.
