Dwight Howard fakes giving a Celtics fan his jersey, is extremely petty

The shade is real.

Dwight Howard was ejected from the Hawks road win against the Celtics Monday night for hanging on the rim after a dunk in the third quarter.

As Howard was making his way off the floor, he stopped to take off his jersey to give to a fan. There was an especially excited Celtics fan in front of him, who he pretended to hand the jersey to before giving it to another fan.

The game was pretty chippy between the two teams. Howard had pushed former Hawks player Al Horford earlier in the game after a hard foul, so he was already frustrated. Not to mention the Hawks and Celtics played a rough five-game series last postseason.

Though that was before Howard’s tenure, the two teams definitely don’t like each other.

There was no way he was about to give up his jersey to a Celtics fan, but the way he went about it was just cold.
