President Donald Trump opted out of filling out an NCAA championship bracket, and some people were upset.
Charles Barkley says President Donald Trump should be filling out a March Madness bracket
He also disagrees with the president’s executive orders.
“Some people” being Charles Barkley, who covers the tournament for Turner sports.
TMZ interviewed Barkley Sunday in New York. He stated that he thought Trump should fill out a bracket for March Madness, and that “It’s a little silly with all the tweets and stuff.”
After the reporter asked him about the bracket, he also launched into other issues he took with the president, namely the executive order to halt immigration from six predominantly Muslim countries. (This is a new order, replacing the first that halted immigration from seven countries.)
Barkley said the ban was “awful,” and expressed worry about the deportation of some people currently in America.
Also, for those of you still concerned about the Barkley-LeBron James beef, Barkley also confirmed that he and James have resolved their issues.
TMZ managed to get in quite a range of questions in the 50 or so seconds they had with the former NBA player.
