Why does Arizona coach Sean Miller sweat so much?

Arizona coach Sean Miller sweats. It’s a trait all humans have. However, few NCAA basketball coaches sweat as much as Miller, who has turned it into an art. This was Miller last year during the tournament.

The man looks like he was pushed into a pool by rowdy teens. We’re only a tiny amount of fabric cling away from full-on nipple exposure. After that game he tried to explain what happened.

“I want to clarify one thing: I didn’t sweat on that day any more (than usual). It’s that I didn’t try out the shirt that I wore. Clearly made an error not having an undershirt and no question I had a bad night, coupled with the fact that we lost. If anything, people may have talked more about me and less about our team, and that may be a good thing as well.”

Miller’s sweatiness has declined since that game, but you can still see it — if you look hard enough.

There’s sweat here.

There wasn’t a distinct sweat problem when Miller was coaching Xavier, which leads to my theory: Miller’s body has adapted to life in Arizona and is in a perpetual state of self-cooling. It can no longer realize when it’s not in a dry, hot environment — so it keeps sweating nonstop.

Now we wait to see if Miller will sweat through his shirt again.
