WWE’s Kane is running for Tennessee county mayor
Hell, fire, and political office.
Remember Kane, the 7-foot monster from the early 2000s whose backstory included him being a burn victim seeking revenge against his brother, a mortician named The Undertaker? Well, he’s running for political office now.
Yes, THAT Kane.
Kane’s character in the last few years has changed. He’s been typically seen wearing a suit and going by Corporate Kane. His real name is Glenn Jacobs. Now Jacobs is running for mayor of Knox County in Tennessee.
According to WCYB, Jacobs has been seriously considering running for mayor. He hasn’t appeared in WWE television for quite some time so this may explain his absence. Jacobs has also been working with WWE for more than two decades.
Jacobs made it official during a press conference on April 11.
This shouldn’t come as a surprise given that the man in the White House is also a WWE Hall of Famer. Everything is wrestling, especially politics. Hopefully his political opponents don’t get chokeslammed.
