You’d expect an Elite Eight game to be well-prepared, right? Turns out, the shot clock was an oversight at Madison Square Garden. Within 49 seconds of South Carolina vs. Florida, the shot clock malfunctioned, causing stoppage for a few minutes.
South Carolina-Florida game begins with malfunctioning shot clock

It malfunctioned once again a few minutes later.
Florida couldn’t help but make a joke about the situation.
It’s definitely not the first time a shot clock broke during an NCAA game, but when Florida Gulf Coast did it, it was because of a nasty dunk. This, however, was just technology betraying everyone as it tends to do. Hopefully, it won’t malfunction for the rest of the game. Lousy robots.
