This week gave the internet a renewed opportunity to appreciate the unique hair of Raiders owner Mark Davis. This went a little too far when someone mashed up Davis and former NBA center Scot Pollard.

Most of the time when you mash faces up it’s just funny. This one is deeply, deeply unsettling. Maybe it’s because I spent a good chunk of last year writing about Scot Pollard’s time on Survivor that I erased every image of Pollard with hair from my head. Honestly, I just don’t know.
It’s weird because normally I’m in lockstep with people, but the world seems to be genuinely enjoying this.
All I know is that this photo is really bothering me a lot and I want to know why.
Maybe it’s because he looks like Javier Bardem in No Country for Old Men.
It could be because I watched the trailer for It yesterday.
Perhaps it’s because I legitimately love the Gene Wilder version of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and detest the Johnny Depp version.
I just hope I’m not the only one who really dislikes this mashup of Scot Pollard and Mark Davis.
