Dirk Nowitzki had one heck of a night on Tuesday. He scored his 30,000th point of his career at home against the Los Angeles Lakers, after coming out fast with a 18-point first quarter.

In attendance was Holger Geschwindner, his shooting coach. He was understandably emotional watching Nowitzki reach the incredible milestone.
There’s still plenty of NBA season left, but no moment will tug at your heartstrings the way that Holger’s reaction to Dirk’s milestone will.
