Two lanes of I-75 just outside Atlanta were blocked on Wednesday morning after a truck carrying thousands of Braves foam tomahawks dropped some of its cargo on the road, causing significant delays.

The tomahawks, like the one shown here held by a small child, were destined for SunTrust Park before falling out and onto the road.
The incident comes weeks after a five-lane section of I-85 collapsed during rush hour. In a day and age where everyone records things instantly, it’s stunning we do not have photos of the road covered in foam novelties. There’s no word on how long the delay will last while tomahawks are cleaned off the interstate.
