Liam Reddy, an Australian league goalie for Perth Glory, had a two-goal lead in the closing minutes of a match against Melbourne City. For some reason, he took it upon himself to unnecessarily play hero ball with the game out of reach.
It cost his team a late-game score in the 89th minute:
Oh no, baby! What is you doing?
Why didn’t he just clear the ball? That last touch was painful to watch.
His team still hung on to win though, 5-4.
