WASHINGTON — An afternoon full of mirth and glee turned violent on Easter Sunday when a crazed rabbit leaped from the stands and attacked Teddy Roosevelt during a president’s race.
Easter Bunny viciously attacks President Roosevelt during fun run in Washington, D.C.

It was truly a case of the hunter becoming the hunted, as the human-sized rabbit crashed into Roosevelt’s trademark giant head, almost knocking off the president’s glasses. Roosevelt was in attendance to celebrate Easter, running around the field in novelty rabbit ears at the time of the vicious attack.
Analysts have noted that this isn’t the first time Roosevelt has been attacked by an anthropomorphized rabbit. In 2015, a similar bunny leaped off a table and tackled Teddy from behind, allowing William Howard Taft to seize victory.
National security advisers are currently trying to ascertain if this latest bunny attack was perpetrated by the same member of the Leporidae family, or whether these are two rabbits driven by a dark desire to topple the 26th president of the United States.
Fans in attendance were stunned to witness the brazen attack and questions are being raised about the quality of ballpark security, who seemed unmoved to intervene and apprehend the bunny.
We’ll have more on this horrific story as it develops.
