Lively got the call when pitcher Pat Neshek left on paternity leave. Now Lively’s dream is coming true. Lively recorded 18 wins between AA and AAA last season, with a combined ERA of 2.69.
The call up comes just one day after his friend Mark Leiter Jr. got the call.
Good things come to those who wait.
