Astros mascot pranks Mike Trout by sticking ‘I love the Astros’ sign on his back

James Dator has been covering a wide range of sports for SB Nation for over a decade, with a special focus on the NFL.

The Astros mascot went deep into the grade school playbook to prank Mike Trout when the Angels and Astros played on Tuesday night.

Trout ran onto the field wearing an “I <3 The Astros” sign, before it was finally removed by a teammate to the laughter of the crowd in attendance.

This is a vastly underused prank in 2017. Kudos to Orbit the mascot for bringing it back.
