MotoGP rider makes ridiculously low turn and somehow doesn’t crash, physics be damned
WHAT THE?!?!


We’re still trying to wrap our heads around this. During Saturday’s qualifying MotoGP event in Austin, rider Loris Baz had an amazing save in the final corner of the track. You can see how low he and his motorcycle were when he was turning, and it looked like he was surely about to lowside crash, but somehow he managed to get back upright, while also preventing a highside crash as his bike wobbled.
Here’s a different angle — again, how the hell did he manage to get back up from that angle?
The near-crash caused him to fall short of getting to the second qualifying event, but at least he got everyone’s attention with a hell of a highlight. And Baz himself sees the bright side to all this:
