The Toronto Raptors tried — they really tried! — to blow the enormous 25-point lead they held over Milwaukee in the second half. In a closeout Game 6, the Raptors saw their lead be hemorrhaged slowly until the Bucks actually took a lead with a few minutes left in the game. It would have been one of the worst postseason losses in the history of the NBA, but DeMar DeRozan wasn’t going to have that.
DeMar DeRozan saves the Raptors with an incredible dagger dunk
DeRozan rose up after Toronto blew a 25-point second half lead.

This dunk put the Raptors up by five points and might as well have been the dagger, with the Bucks driving down on the next play and Khris Middleton throwing it out of bounds. Especially when you consider the circumstances, this was an amazing dunk. DeRozan really should have been given an and-one and a free throw off it, too, with the Bucks making contact on his head.
DeRozan wasn’t a three-time All-Star for nothing, you know.
