Predators player almost cuts Blues player’s face with his skate blade

Sometimes it’s easy to forget hockey players essentially wear sharp weapons on their feet during games.

You don’t have to remind St. Louis Blues winger David Perron. As the first period of Game 1 drew to a close, Perron got tangled along the benches with Nashville Predators defenseman Roman Josi.

They fell. Rosi’s leg lifted. And NONONONONONONONONONO ...

Thank goodness Perron is okay. Maybe Josi realized what was happening and slowed his leg down or something. At any rate, we all avoided a horrific hockey injury here.
