When it comes to high fives, Jimmy Butler has both good and bad experiences. A good experience would be trolling the other team at the free-throw line with Rajon Rondo whenever they miss. A bad experience would be, well, whenever Bobby Portis gets too excited. If you recall last year, Portis got really intense during a Bulls-Lakers game and gave Butler a much-too-intense high-five. You can see Butler reacting in slight pain here:

Apparently, Portis did not learn anything from 2016, because at Thursday’s Bulls-Sixers game, he did it again:
Both instances were easy to laugh off because the Bulls won those games, and Butler himself joked about Thursday’s incident after the game (via ESPN):
“I know if Bobby smacks my hand as hard as he did again,” Butler said with a smile, “we’re going to go toe-to-toe.”
Still, you’d think Butler and Portis would’ve talk about it the first time this happened, because you know the Bulls need that hand to be healthy. What would happen if Portis did this again? Would Butler get a free sandwich for every third hand slap from Portis? Bobby, please be careful next time.
