He signed a deal worth more than $1.4 million per year
The signing is part of the 20th anniversary of the brand entering the Chinese market, according to Sneaker News.
How much is the deal, you ask?
Yep, more than $1.4 million. Guo joins Yao Ming and Yi Jianlian as Chinese players with shoe deals, though he is the first to sign as a CBA player.
Jordan Brand released a video welcoming Guo to the family, with Michael Jordan providing the voiceover and a note of encouragement to Guo.
“Countless have dreamed of this. Represent them. Represent me. Represent yourself. Welcome to the family.”
