Phil Kessel has had quite a week.
Penguins fans name new baby in honor of Phil Kessel
Old Kessel scored almost exactly one day after young Kessel was born.

The Penguins winger shrugged off a frustrating start and became the hero of Game 2 of the Eastern Conference final on Monday. And now a baby is named after him.
Per WTAE in Pittsburgh, Nicole and Adam Hillman welcomed a little boy to the world on Mother’s Day. And they named him ... Kessel Ryan Hillman. Adam Hillman called it “the perfect name,” and it’s obvious why:
Little Kessel was born while his father played “Let’s Go Pens” in the delivery room, mother Nicole said. Nicole said after baby Kessel was born, they realized it was meant to be.
“Sure enough, they put me in bed No. 81,” Nicole said, referring to Phil Kessel’s jersey number.
“He was born at 6:53 p.m., and the winning goal was scored at 6:55,” Nicole said.
One can only assume the “Ryan” middle name is for noted Penguins great Ryan Whitney. Surely.
