Bruce has been with Hull since 2012, and he didn’t even get a phone call first. This was likely a social media snafu, and the club had intended to talk with him before tweeting out the info — but that never happened.
Hull City didn’t respond to Bruce’s tweet, but at least he got another nice tweet in his honor:
