The Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters in Japan are having fans hunt Minions for sport on May 28 as part of a new promotion celebrating “WE LOVE HOKKAIDO.” The three Minions will be wearing convict attire, and fans are asked to hunt for them around the stadium.
Fans will hunt loose convict Minions in weird baseball promotion

The Minion-filled day is helping promote the release of Despicable Me 3 in Japan, which has been titled Minion onsen of the Kaitou glue which Google tells me loosely translates into “Sharp-dressed Minions hot spring of glue” which is both the best and grossest title I’ve ever read. All depends on how depraved you are.
Either way, it’s a Minion-fest for the Ham Fighters. If you catch one and take a selfie with the Minion you’ll get a chance to win tickets and swag. There’s plenty of sweet giveaways, too, to satisfy your Minion-cravings.
Fighter meet Minions indeed.
