Luke Terry doesn’t think he’s special or inspirational, but this 14-year-old baseball player is doing more than he can ever appreciate.
This middle school catcher is smooth as hell and he does it with one arm

Terry, a catcher for Cornersville Middle School in Tennessee, is a critical part of his school’s team, bats third in the lineup, and does it all with one arm. Luke was 19 months old when he had to have his arm amputated due to an E. coli infection, according to USA Today -- but that’s never stopped him in life, or on the field.
“I don’t even think about it,” Luke said of playing without his right arm. “Fans tell me, ‘You’re an inspiration.’ They want me to go a long ways.”
He’s developed techniques to play to the best of his ability. While catching, Luke has developed a technique where he’s able to flip the ball out of his glove, drop the glove, catch the ball again, and throw it — all in one fluid motion. In motion it’s no slower than any other player at the position, and he shines.
Luke’s coaches marvel at his work ethic and how he plays the game.
“He has a work ethic that is unbelievable,” Cornersville Middle baseball coach Mike Tatum said of Luke.
”A lot of us coaches get to complaining about something we can’t do. Then if you look at him, we should be ashamed of ourselves sometimes. If you want to, there is about anything you can do.”
This is just an incredible story.
