Look out, Lonzo and Lavar — in terms of big baller prices, this pair of shoes has you beat. By a lot. According to ESPN, a pair of shoes worn by Michael Jordan in the 1984 Summer Olympics sold for $190,373 at auction.

They weren’t even from a legendary game!

It makes sense that the shoes would sell for a lot — after all, this is Michael Jordan we’re talking about, but almost $200,000 dollars is a TON of money.
I mean, do you know what else you could buy with that much dough?
- A house
- A Lamborghini
- 384 pairs of Big Baller Brand ZO2s
There are a number of good options, so whoever bought these shoes must be extremely dedicated to owning shoes that Jordan personally drenched with foot sweat.
The kicks sold for almost $90,000 more than the pair of shoes Jordan wore during his famous “Flu Game” in the 1997 NBA Finals, which coincidentally happened 20 years ago yesterday. When Jordan wore these shoes in the 1984 Olympic game against Spain, he hadn’t even played in the NBA yet.
But hey, if you have $200K to drop on sneakers, why not go for a pair of yellowed, tattered Converses worn by the greatest basketball player of all time?
To quote a pair of Air Jordans (probably): “Just do it.”
