Tour of Slovenia cycling crash has endless sliding, rider bunny-hopping over downed bicycle

Cycling crashes are typically horrific pileups that end dreams in an instant — but this one from the Tour of Slovenia on Friday had a little bit of everything:

It begins with the race leader slipping on road markings made slick by rain. Instead of just crumpling to the ground, he slides a good 50 feet and up a crosswalk ramp:

Then seconds later, another cyclist went down before a third collided with a spectator after running off the course. Despite all that carnage, perhaps the best moment of this whole clip happened when the cyclists turned the corner. One of the riders was faced with a proposition of falling off his bike, or going for it — and so he bunny-hopped over the bike in front of him and kept going:

This whole race was something else.
