There are two things you should know about former NFL coach Jon Gruden’s son — his name is Deuce (which is awesome), and he’s a world champion powerlifter. The 23-year-old is a strength and conditioning assistant for the Washington NFL team and on Monday, he competed in the IPF World Classic Powerlifting Championships.

Yeah, he’s pretty strong.
The 5’5 Gruden won a gold medal at the international powerlifting competition, according to ESPN’s Neeta Sreekanth.
That means he’s one of the strongest people in the world — or at least a lot stronger than most.
Of course, one look at his Instagram would probably tell you that much anyways.
That’s a lot of weight!
Jon Gruden, who provides color commentary for ESPN’s Monday Night Football, was in Belarus to watch his son compete in the competition, something he told the Los Angeles Times he could never do himself.
“I took pride in trying to be as strong as I could. I never got anywhere in the same ZIP code as this guy,” Gruden said of his son. “Weight lifting to Deuce is like football to me.”
So congrats to Deuce for becoming a world champion and proving he’s stronger than us all!
