Travelers Championship fan yells ‘deport Roger Goodell’ after Boo Weekley takes a swing
It wouldn’t be a golf tournament without a fan yelling something after a player takes a swing. A fan yelled “deport Roger Goodell!” after Boo Weekley took a swing at the 13th hole during the Travelers Championship. It’s not an entirely random thing to yell -- the tournament takes place in Cromwell, Conn., where there are plenty of Patriots fans. They’re still enjoying another Super Bowl victory, but will happily take an opportunity to dunk on the NFL commissioner.
Sidenote: There was a dog that interrupted Boo Weekley a few seconds before the fan yelled “deport Roger Goodell!”
