Blazers roll out the red carpet to welcome ‘Cash considerations’ to Portland

On a day dominated by Phil Jackson’s firing and Chris Paul being traded to the Rockets, it was the Blazers who decided to make things fun. On Wednesday afternoon the team traded guard Tim Quarterman to the Rockets for cash.

A totally ho-hum deal in the scheme of things, but Portland wanted to add some pizzazz to their afternoon -- so they came up with this gem.

This is so dang good. Bravo, Blazers. Naturally everyone else got in on the fun too.
