The NBA is a weird, weird place right now. Kevin Durant’s move to the Warriors sparked an arms race that’s resulted in almost every superstar looking to team up. Super teams existed before, but perhaps this is the first time multiple teams tried to get in on it.
This NBA All-Star photo eerily predicted the Western Conference’s superteams

No photo shows this better than going back and looking at the 2016 Western Conference All-Star team photo.
The spooky part is that the photo is divided into little enclaves where everyone who joined the same team was standing next to each other in this photo.
Warriors
Kevin Durant, Draymond Green, Klay Thompson, Steph Curry.
Rockets
Chris Paul, James Harden.
Spurs
Kawhi Leonard, LaMarcus Aldridge.
Pelicans
Anthony Davis, DeMarcus Cousins.
Out of the 12 players on the team, 10 are currently teamed up somewhere. Only Russ is alone in OKC, and Kobe Bryant retired. The same can’t be said for the East, where 10 of the 12 players still play for different teams.
