Dahntay Jones has a very unique skill: Getting fined. In fact, the Cavaliers forward is almost too good at it — to the point where he’s almost lost his entire 2016-17 salary.
Dahntay Jones lost all but $127 of his Cavaliers salary to technical fouls
This is something else.

Jones received another technical foul in Game 4 following a deep J.R. Smith three. Jones argued with the refs, got a tech, and will now face another fine. It’s gotten to the point where he would have made just 0.014 percent of his starting salary -- but thankfully he has a guardian angel.
LeBron James has stepped in and paid his fines in the past, but his $6,000 run in two minutes of the Cavs series with the Raptors came with a warning:
“I told him tonight, ‘Now listen, Dahntay. Enough is enough,’” James told reporters after the game, laughing. “‘You gonna stop getting kicked out against Toronto all the time, all right? So I can stop paying your damn fines.’ But he won’t have to worry about [paying the fine]. He’s good.”
We’ll see if this holds true again after the NBA Finals.
