Snapchat’s dancing hot dog filter is one of the greatest things on the internet. On Wednesday night, Hassan Whiteside discovered the dancing tube meat, and what followed was a beautiful journey of discovery, acceptance, and friendship.

The Heat center was at first confronted by his new friend. Why was this turnt hot dog in his car? It wasn’t invited. It needed to leave immediately, even though its dancing was somewhat hypnotic.
The hot dog followed Whiteside everywhere. From his car, into the locker room — even into the cold tub for recovery. It was here that he began to come around on its smooth rhythm and dancing skills, calling it a “Jesus hot dog” due to its ability to dance on water.
The relationship changed. Suddenly Whiteside didn’t want the hot dog to leave, and when he returned to the Heat locker room and saw it dancing on Justise Winslow, he was smitten.
