This backflipping belly flop was the star of Miami Hurricanes’ pool party

It started with promise and ended in horror.

The video, posted by Miami Hurricanes running back Trayone Gray, is from the Paradise Pool Party, a yearly staple of Miami coach Mark Richt. Now let’s see where things went wrong.

Thankfully, we can clearly see the diver above water, which means the only thing he bruised was his ego ... and probably every one of his ribs. Belly flops happen. At least he went for it.
