The U.S. Women’s National Team pulled off one of the great comebacks in national sports on Sunday when it scored three goals in nine minutes to beat Brazil 4-3 in the 2017 Tournament of Nations.
USWNT stuns Brazil with incredible 3-goal comeback in final 10 minutes

That’s right — Brazil blew a 3-1 lead. Commence jokes now. Up two goals and with 10 minutes to play it would have been understandable if you changed channels, but goodness did you miss out. Skip ahead to 1:27 to watch the comeback ensue.
It was beautiful to watch the tone of the USWNT’s Twitter account change during the comeback.
Three minutes later.
Six minutes after that.
Another five minutes.
Players couldn’t believe what happened.
Fans were overjoyed (and had jokes).
Of course a lot of people were happy, but there were even more fans who couldn’t be overjoyed at the win. Failings earlier in the week still called for coach Jill Ellis to be fired, and that didn’t stop fans even after the comeback win. Take a look around Twitter and you’ll see scores of people still asking for a coaching change.
Maybe we can just enjoy this win and get back to that tomorrow?
