This fireworks-powered airplane flew off course and exploded into a neighbor’s house

There will be a lot of fireworks-related mishaps posted on the internet today, but this is our favorite because nobody got seriously injured and the whole thing is hilarious.

The plan of the video is simple: Throw the airplane down the street and have it explode in mirth, much to the enjoyment of onlookers. You can hear a child say “Dad, do it,” right as pops is about to throw it.

Everything looks fine at the point of release. Fun is about to be had by all.

Then things go wrong.

This is why ordinary people shouldn’t fly planes — or attach fireworks to them and test their own personal aerodynamic theories in a cul-de-sac.
