What if I told you that rain-delayed WNBA games were actually ... good? The Washington Mystics didn’t let their home crowd fans down when an absolute downpour in the nation’s capital caused the second roof leak at Capital One Arena in two weeks. Their opponent, the Indiana Fever, joined in with an all-out dance-off.
WNBA players had a dance-off after roof leak caused game delay
INCREDIBLE impromptu work.

Please watch Ivory Latta GO.
Benches cleared for this dance party, including the Mystics panda mascot.
Whoever thought of this idea deserves a reward. This could’ve been a lame delay, and fans could’ve watched rain drip from the ceiling as players chilled on the sidelines.
Instead they got this, featuring a group wobble, which came without an extra charge. There’s no official word if fans in the arena were allowed to join in, but I would like to think they could upon request. Put me in, coach!
The game did resume and the Mystics went on to crush the Fever, 100-80, even without Elena Delle Donne.
