This one-handed homer might be the best softball trick shot yet

James Dator
James Dator has been covering a wide range of sports for SB Nation for over a decade, with a special focus on the NFL.

A home run to deep center field isn’t impressive on its own — but when you do it one-handed after spinning the bat behind your back?

This is Renaud Lefort, member of “Les 4 Chevaliers,” who are the Canadian softball equivalent of the Harlem Globetrotters. The traveling team are part amazing trick shots, and part comedians — and they’ve been doing this stuff for over 50 years.

Now their videos are making waves on the internet, and they’re pure joy. You probably saw this video of Lefort in 2015 that went viral when he hit a home run backwards.

This one-handed homer might be even more impressive? It’s hard to determine because they’re both great.
