Minnesota Lynx break WNBA record for most consecutive points with a 37-0 run against Indiana Fever
An incredible run!

This is next-level dominance.
On Friday night, the Minnesota Lynx took on the Indiana Fever. With the Lynx making an appearance in last season’s WNBA Finals against the Los Angeles Sparks, one would have assumed they’d be the favorites in this matchup, but not to this extent.
The Lynx ended the first quarter with a 37-9 lead and they somehow improved on that as the first quarter wound down. Led by Sylvia Fowles, the Lynx went on a 37-0 run, the most ever in WNBA history. That began with 4:11 left in the first quarter.
The scoring run kept going through the duration of most of the second quarter, eventually ending thanks to a 17-foot shot by Indiana’s Natalie Achonwa. This happened with 3:45 left in the second quarter, so the Fever went without a point for slightly more than an entire quarter.
The 48-point deficit is too much for any team to overcome, as the Lynx won 111-52. Fowles led all scorers with 25 points, followed by Renee Montgomery, who scored 20. Indiana’s highest scorer was Jazmon Gwathmey with 11.
