There is a solution if you’ve always been interested in the idea of water skiing but hated that whole standing-up part. It’s called the “airchair,” and while it’s not a new invention, it’s definitely an unappreciated one.
The ‘airchair’ is a seated waterski and it’s making a comeback

Videos of the airchair have been around for over a decade. It was purportedly invented in the 1990s, but never really took off. It takes the basic principles of a hydrofoil and attaches them to a board with a chair attached. The rider is strapped to the chair, which allows all sorts of seated jumps and tricks.
Appreciate this video of a professional airchair athlete, partly because of the video and mostly because of the music.
Have you ever ridden an airchair? This thing looks amazing and almost nobody talks about them.
